Compared to our 2M kits the 1M allow for ease of adjustability with a single 30-clicks adjustment knob providing matching adjustment of both compression and rebound together.

  • 4x Top plates (or OEM style mounting for cars with no top plates)
  • 4x Steel or Alloy bottom mounts, fully bolt-on with ABS/Brake hose brackets. 
  • 4x Springs with custom rate (Cars with separated shocks and springs comes with rear height adjustable spring perches)
  • 4x Damping knobs for shock adjustment (30 adjustable clicks adjusting compression and rebound accordingly, around 800N range)
  • 2x C-Spanners

986 Boxster S suspension refresh

Was happy to see the quality and feel of the product. They came ready to install right out of the box. Have yet to test on a track day so can’t give a full breakdown of the coilover results.

Would have really appreciate a few printed install instructions to be included, makes it easier for quick reference, but managed to figure things out through online videos.

St162 comfort option

Went with the comfort option because Australian roads are harsh and can safely say these are the choice. They bolted in without issue and they seem to be really good quality.
Once I got these setup and adjusted properly, I setup travel for around 30% compression, 70% droop, which honestly could use a bit more compression, but it keeps it nice and low.
At these settings with semi slicks, the car feels suuuuuper planted, almost like it's on rails. Being able to stiffer damper in the rear is heaps better for cornering too.

Really impressed with the quality and how well these fit in. At this rate I'll be grabbing some brakes from CEIKA eventually too.

price is amazing compared to KW which is really the only other option on these cars. haven’t driven much but so far feel really good, mechanic had no issues with install and my fitment is amazing now!

Nice on a Datsun 280ZX Turbo 1983 but could be better?

The goal of purchasing the CEIKA Custom coilovers was to replace the old original struts that were dead (280 ZX Turbo 1983). While the car drove nicely steady in curves and acceleration/deceleration (much more safer!), the suspension was still bungy, as in the original situation. I was expecting something smoother (I had a 300 ZX Z31 from 1985 that felt like a Mercedes), but maybe simply newer models had globally better suspension? I am still happy, and can load the car with 3 teenagers, and full trunk (car was elevated 3cm on front, and 4cm on back). Very nice to be able to adjust stiffness! One negative side, is the need to cut and saughter the strut to the wheel older - something that newer versions of the Coilovers from CEIKA should consider (having an intact original suspension is needed for the inspection in some countries). I will now have to identify original pieces just to ensure I can keep the car in the country as the CEIKA are not homologated in Switzerland.
