Packaged well, came in early! Great quality product, could use a better instruction set.
CEIKA Custom Big Brake Kit for Toyota Tundra mk2 (07~13)
I like everything I received, but I do not like that. I did not get any Fax sheets or instructions with said item. Once you spent this much money on something you need to know where tolerance is and items should be screwed into and or how much.-it is not exactly a stock replacement but they are very high-quality and look good. I can’t tell you 100% till they are installed in the car and I actually drive it feel it and know what’s up but so far it’s not been the best of installations because this is not the most comprehensive kit you would expect for the money you spent-but it looks good so far we’ll see what happens
Very satisfied with the setup that I put in, no instructions about measurements…but I’ll def add on more for the setup when it’s time…
Perfect fitment
I got these coils for my 1st generation Toyota Caldina st195g. They fit perfect with slight modification to the rears to fit the spindle. I got a 7k front and 6k rear spring rate which worked out perfectly for my car especially for the rear being 4wd. Simple install and adjustments and they ride exactly how I wanted them to. 10/10
Did not expect to have brake squeal at the price of the Big Brake Kit. Hoping to get this resolved.
CEIKA Custom Coilovers for Nissan Datsun 280ZX (78~83)
Everything was well packaged and nicely made. The kit was a bolt on swap for the oem brakes without any modification besides a high volume master cylinder as the oem master had a lot of travel due to the 6 large pistons. The brake feel is fantastic and consistent without any harshness. The only problem in the whole process was the right caliper was in a bag labelled left and vice versa for the left.
I replaced the airmatic system with these coilovers on my 2000 W220 Mercedes S500 and I was concerned that it wouldn't be as comfortable of a ride, but they far exceeded my expectations. I ordered the 16K on the front and 10K on the rear with the helper springs and I don't notice much difference at all. I think the handling around corners is better also. Also, when going down ramps, the coilovers don't compress too much so the front doesn't scrape on the ground as much as before, even though its lower than before. Customer service was very helpful when ordering and I will be buying any future coilovers from Ceika.
Everything arrived in good condition, quality of the parts it top notch. Install was straight forward if you have done similar job before. Ride quality is better that stock, even with the medium spring rate and about 50% dampening ajustements clics. Ride is more predictable and precice. Ride height set to still be able to drive in the Quebec snow, but not much than a small car!
Overall high satisfaction. Ride quality is great. Relatively easy to install. However, the instruction manual leaves a lot to desire in terms of more information and clearer instructions for the installation. I am fine tuning the set up for my car to my driving style and would only know the final result after completing this task.
These coilovers fit onto my 1988 Toyota Celica Gt with almost zero issues. The main thing that didn’t quite fit was a small bracket where the brake line was supposed to sit but even that was very minimal. The coilovers themselves feel great on the car and have seriously increased the performance and handling of the car overall
Awesome coilovers, fit perfectly and the ride quality is better than expected.
Just like the last order I made with Ceika this kit fit perfectly. Quality is great, can’t wait to
Get this car on the track.
Overall I am very pleased with the coilovers. The dampening that I have set has a good ride feel and the overall build quality seems excellent. I can say that these coilovers are comparable in quality and ride to much more expensive brands that I have tried in the past and I would highly recommend them. Also Ceika has excellent customer support, I have reached out to them a couple times now and they are very quick with replies and super helpful.
These have been awesome for a car that doesn’t really see coilovers. My A8 has been razor sharp in the curves. But if I were to give myself some adjustment, and if I go with a bigger wheel and less sidewall, is it possible the buy separate springs? Hoping to get some comfort styles to mitigate it.
I love the product and quality! Finally installed them last week and raced on Colorado state highways! (no tickets!)
Love the brakes huge difference in stopping power compared to stock
Installed the 6 piston front big brake kit on my vw cc 2.0 (2008-2012). First off, let me say that the calipers and the rotors look great! I got the drilled and slotted rotors and love the design, however, the holes and slots accumulate rust which doesn't go away after braking. Knowing this now, I should have just spent the extra $70 on the anti-rust coating. The stopping power is significantly better than my stock brakes, so I'm glad I didn't just pay for the aesthetics haha. Something to be aware of is how installing the calipers affects the brake sensor. My brake sensors were built into the stock calipers, and there is no way to reuse them. Unfortunately, the Ceika brake kit doesn't come with brake pad sensors so now I have the "brake" light showing on the dash. Not a super big deal, but I want to let the reader know anyway. All in all, very satisfied with the brakes and they definitely unlocked a new dimension of excitement for my car.
Fitted these to a Jaguar S-Type, along with poly bushing and new Yoko V107 tyres. They are good quality, shocks provide wide adjustment. Running them now on stiffest setting, car performs very well for its class. Running 16k F, 10k R, which is the standard spring rate. May go to stiffer springs since the car seems to be under-sprung, a bit too much movement at higher speed (200kmh) and slightly too much body roll and floaty at slow speeds. Would recommend really being realistic about driving conditions, if it's similar to track, then you need stiffer rates. Standard/medium equates to a sport street condition (like OEMs set up their sport versions).
Great product and custom tailored to my needs as a cruiser. Installation was perfect with no fitment issues. Great price and highly recommend.
Good quality stuff! Came well packaged and arrived in a timely matter. However the rear suspension once installed on the car sits quite a bit higher than the front, and can't be adjusted low enough to be level, which is somewhat disappointing for the price.
Hi Joshua,
Thank you for your feedback.
If you want the rear to be lower, you can remoove the locking rings of the rear high low kit or remoove the high low kit fully.
Feel free to contact us by email if needed.
Looking forward to read you.
