Can CEIKA help me choose spring rates?

CEIKA coilovers are built to order, with spring rates and shock valving selected for the car and driving requirements. Start with the choices shown for your application. If you need help, tell us your car, how you use it and what you want to improve so we can review the setup.

Does the Comfort option mean softer springs?

The Comfort option changes the shock valving. Softer main springs are a separate choice. Ride feel also depends on tyres, ride height and suspension geometry, so share your current setup when asking for advice.

Should I have coilovers professionally installed?

CEIKA recommends installation and setup by a qualified professional following CEIKA guidance. Check suspension joints, steering components, subframe mounts and bushes before installation.

What comes in a big brake kit?

The selected axle kit includes a pair of calipers, two-piece rotors, matching brake pads, braided brake lines, mounting brackets, bolts and installation hardware. Parking-brake hardware and dust-boot calipers are included when specified in your configuration.

Does an air ride kit include air management?

Air management and supporting components depend on the configuration you choose. Check the management system, compressor and reservoir options shown for your application before ordering. If you already have a system, send us its details so we can review what you need.

Can you help confirm my forged wheel specifications?

Yes. Tell us your vehicle, the wheel design you want and any brake or suspension changes. We can review dimensions, offset, bolt pattern, finish, load rating and brake clearance for your car.

Which OEM-size replacement rotors should I choose?

Match the listing and specifications to your vehicle’s exact application. If you are unsure, send your model and year, the rotor listing and details of your current brakes before ordering.

Browse OEM-size two-piece rotors

Can a rear rotor upgrade retain my original calipers?

CEIKA’s rear rotor upgrade range uses larger rear rotors with the original calipers. This is a different option from an OEM-size replacement rotor. Check the specific vehicle application and kit details before ordering.

Explore rear rotor upgrades

Can I move my CEIKA kit to another vehicle?

Do not assume a kit will fit another car, even if the model name is the same. Mounting points and components can differ by generation, trim and market. Send your original order number and the new vehicle details so we can check what is required.

What if my vehicle is not listed?

Send the year, make, model, chassis or generation, trim, drivetrain and country, plus the product you want. We will review the application and whether a custom solution is feasible before confirming availability, cost or timing.

How do I use a brake clearance template?

Use the template for your exact caliper and rotor configuration. Print at 100% with page scaling off, then check the horizontal and vertical dimensions with a ruler. Cut out the template and check both the wheel barrel and spokes, allowing at least 2 mm beyond the outline. If clearance is close or uncertain, send your wheel specifications and photos before ordering.

Will I need wheel spacers for a big brake kit?

Some wheel designs need additional clearance even when their diameter appears suitable. Check the exact brake template first. A qualified installer must assess wheel centring, fastener engagement, body clearance and the suitability of any spacer for your car.

How do I check parking-brake compatibility?

Check the Parking brake type information for your exact kit on its product page. If it is missing or you are unsure how it applies to your vehicle, contact us with the product link and full vehicle details before ordering.

What should I check before upgrading only the front brakes?

The front and rear setup should be considered together, especially when making a substantial change to the front brakes. Share your current brakes, wheel specifications, exact vehicle and intended use so our team can review a suitable configuration.

Is coilover ride height the same as spring preload?

They are separate settings. On CEIKA threaded-body coilovers, ride height is set at the lower mount independently of spring preload. Follow the instructions for your exact kit and have a qualified installer carry out adjustments; do not use the spring seat to set ride height.

Can you confirm a specific drop or lift?

The achievable height depends on the vehicle, kit and available suspension travel. Send your current height, target height, wheel and tyre sizes and intended use before ordering. We will review the specification rather than guarantee a universal adjustment range.

Can replacing factory adaptive or air suspension cause warning lights?

On some vehicles, changing the original suspension can require additional vehicle-specific electronics or coding. Tell us which factory system your car has before ordering. A specialist familiar with the vehicle should assess any warning lights and the required solution.

Can I reuse my existing air management system?

Compatibility needs to be checked for the exact combination. Send the make and model of your management system, compressor and tank, together with your vehicle and proposed CEIKA kit. Confirm the required components before ordering.

What should I do if my air suspension loses height?

If the vehicle drops significantly, rubs a tyre or feels unstable, do not drive it until a qualified professional has inspected it. Do not dismantle a pressurised system. Contact us with the kit and order details, the affected corner and how quickly it loses height.

How do I get the correct installation instructions?

Contact us with your order number and product details so we can identify the instructions for your kit. Brake, suspension and wheel installation should be carried out by a qualified professional. Use the kit-specific instructions for torque values, setup and operating procedures.

Can I change wheel dimensions or finish after ordering?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the change you want. Custom wheels are made to the agreed specifications; whether a change is possible and any additional cost depend on the production stage. Wait for confirmation before assuming the change can be made.

Can you confirm certification for my chosen wheels?

Ask us about documentation for the exact wheel design, dimensions and destination before ordering. Requirements vary by country, so check modification and inspection requirements with your local authority or inspection body and insurer.

Can you deliver in time for my event or installation date?

Tell us your deadline, destination and proposed specification before ordering. Production, transit and customs clearance are separate stages. Our team must confirm whether your timing is feasible; an estimated lead time is not a guaranteed delivery date.

What should I send if something arrives damaged or missing?

Contact us promptly with your order number and a description of the damaged or missing item. Keep the packaging and send photos of the outer carton, shipping label, packaging and contents, including close-ups of any damage. We will review the issue and advise the next step.

Tracking says delivered, but I have not received my parcel. What next?

Check the delivery location and, where relevant, reception or other household members. Contact us with your order and tracking numbers and any carrier notice or delivery photo. We can review the delivery information with you and investigate the missing parcel.

Does free shipping include return shipping?

Free-shipping offers apply to the outbound order shipment. Contact us before sending anything back; return approval, shipping charges and other conditions follow the applicable shipping and returns terms.

What do CEIKA coilover helper springs do?

CEIKA coilovers adjust ride height at the lower mount, separately from spring preload, so the main spring remains tight when correctly set up. Helper springs allow more suspension extension (droop) with stiffer linear main springs and provide two-stage spring action as the suspension compresses again after bumps and dips. Choose only the axle coverage offered for your application.

What does droop mean, and why does it matter with stiff springs?

Droop is the suspension’s extension travel as a wheel moves down relative to the body, for example over a dip. CEIKA helper springs allow more of this travel when using stiffer linear main springs. This is separate from setting ride height and main-spring preload.

What does two-stage spring action mean?

The helper and main spring work together to provide two stages of spring action as the suspension compresses again after a bump or dip. This describes how the springs act; it is separate from the damper’s compression and rebound adjustment.

What is the difference between Type 1M and Type 2M?

Type 1M adjusts compression and rebound together. Type 2M allows separate adjustment and uses external reservoirs. Choose based on the control you need and the installation requirements.

Do pillowball mounts always include camber adjustment?

No. Camber adjustment depends on the suspension layout and axle. Check the mount description for your exact application.

Do more caliper pistons mean a shorter stopping distance?

Piston count alone does not determine stopping distance. The complete brake setup, tyres, road conditions and vehicle systems all matter; choose a matched configuration for your car and use.

What is the difference between rotor coating and hat colour?

Rotor coating is an optional anti-corrosion treatment on the rotor ring. Hat colour is the anodized finish on the centre section that mounts to the hub.

Are Race and Pro Race pads suitable for daily driving?

No. Race and Pro Race compounds are for race use only. They can produce more noise and dust and increase rotor wear. Choose a street-suitable compound for everyday road use.

What are anti-knockback springs?

They help limit movement that pushes the pads away from the rotor and can increase pedal travel on the next brake application. They are offered only for compatible calipers.

Does 4-way control mean automatic height levelling?

Not by itself. Four-way control describes separate control of the corners. Automatic height levelling requires the appropriate sensors, management and confirmed system compatibility.

Why must width and offset be considered together?

Both affect the inner and outer position of the wheel. A fitment check also needs the tyre size, brake clearance, suspension and body clearance.

Does selecting a centre-lock conversion confirm it fits my car?

No. CEIKA must review the exact vehicle and original hub specification before confirming the conversion.

Are OEM-size replacements and enlarged rear rotor kits the same?

No. OEM-size replacements match a listed original-size application. Enlarged rear kits use a different rotor specification and must be checked against the exact vehicle and kit details.

Can I choose a replacement spring by rate alone?

No. Free length, seating dimensions, end shape and the original kit specification also matter. Include the original order or kit reference so CEIKA can check the replacement.
